National Merit Semifinalists Recognized
The Pelham Public Schools is proud to announce that PMHS seniors Arman Brummett and Eloise McGibbon have earned recognition as National Merit Semifinalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Arman and Eloise are among more than 16,000 students across the country to be named semifinalists by scoring among the highest in their respective states on the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test last year.
“I am thrilled to congratulate these two incredible students on being named National Merit Semifinalists and being among those who scored in the top 1% in the state on their PSATs,” said PMHS Principal Sean Llewellyn. “This accomplishment is a testament to these students’ high academic achievement, hard work and the dedication and talent of our esteemed faculty and staff.”
Semifinalists now have the opportunity to be named a National Merit Finalist and earn a chance to receive one of 6,930 National Merit Scholarships totaling nearly $26 million in the spring.
