PMHS Forensic Speech Team Continues Strong Season
The PMHS Forensic Speech Team continued its run of success in March with strong performances at the Hudson Valley NSDA National Qualifier District Tournament on March 2 and the Grand National Qualifier Tournament on March 16.
At the March 2 competition, Christopher O’Meara and Isaac Lief placed 1st and 2nd respectively in Congressional Debate while the team of Liam Ginsburg and Jeremy Tam placed first in Duo Interpretation. All four students will represent New York at the NSDA Tournament of Champions in Des Moines, Iowa in June.
At the March 16 competition, O’Meara and Lief placed 4th and 5th respectively in Congressional Debate while Ginsburg and Tam once again took home 1st place in Duo Interpretation. Their performance qualifies them to travel to Chicago over Memorial Day Weekend to represent New York City at the NCFL Grand National Championships.
