Trustee Allison Anderson recognized the work of the Department of Public Works (DPW) for their road and sidewalk repairs, storm drain work, street sweeping and parks maintenance, preparing for the first day of school.

Anderson noted that 2,772 tons of asphalt have been placed through the annual paving program; 120 cubic yards of concrete were poured for new sidewalks; three catch basins and four roadway sinkholes were repaired; 16 tons of street sweeping debris and 120 gallons of traffic paint were applied to crosswalks and pavement markings throughout the Village.  She thanked DPW General Foreman Robert Guistino and crew for their great work.

The Hutchinson River Restoration Project will host the Sandford Sweep on Sunday, October 4th, 9:00am to 1:00pm at Glover Field.

Trustee Krystal Howell said that the Pelham Professional Firefighters Local 2213 is presenting their 2026 Breast Cancer Awareness Chili Cook Off at the Fire Station, 200 Fifth Avenue on Saturday, October 3rd from 12 Noon to 4:00pm.

During Public Comment, Catherine Dalleva condemned vandalism on Storer Avenue and Pelhamwood, including aggressive battering on her front door, suspecting teens from New Rochelle.  Mullen replied that he would consult with the Police Chief.

Finally, a Resolution authorized an Intermunicipal Agreement between the City of New Rochelle and Village for organic waste disposal.
