Pelham Art Center Announces Studio Cafe 2025 Punk Rock Theme
Pelham Art Center is pleased to announce its annual Fall fundraiser, Studio Cafe: Punk Rock. The event will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Pelham Art Center’s Fifth Avenue location. All proceeds from the event directly support Pelham Art Center’s operations, from youth and adult education to scholarships and public programs. This is a 100% volunteer run event. The evening will include food, cocktails, dancing and other activities, including live mural painting, live and DJ’ed music, art auctions, and valuable gifts typically including vacations, jewelry and more. Billed as the “most exciting event of the year” in Pelham, this one is not to be missed, as the theme is Punk Rock. Guests are encouraged to dress in punk rock inspired outfits as unique and creative as the movement itself.
Silent auctions will offer a plethora of compelling items and experiences for bidding. VIP hour will allow first dibs of original “1X1” art works from a broad community of artists, curated by the Pelham Art Center’s Gallery Advisory Council. Local businesses, restaurants, and artisans donating goods to the community art center’s fundraiser have the perk of gaining excellent exposure to an engaged and enthusiastic audience of arts lovers. For those interested in donating auction items or sponsoring the event, please view this form or visit our website at pelhamartcenter.org.
This year’s Studio Cafe is chaired by board members Fred Gallo and Rosemary Maggiore along with a robust host committee made up of board and community members dedicated to the Pelham Art Center’s mission and continued success.
“I have been a board member for almost 5 years now,” says Maggiore, “and have seen how Studio Cafe is not only the most fun party in town, but it has an incredible lasting impact on the Art Center’s success, setting the tone for the rest of the year.” The host committee includes: Board Chair Nancy Mazzei, Board President Julia Fuller Nakayama, Michele Westrick, Lilian Miller, Michelle Acosta, Jaime Wright, Anique Scharf, Joanne Ferrara, Chris Dlutowski, Danielle DeVito, Alexi Rutsch Brock and Paula McKeever. In addition, the staff of the Pelham Art Center is central to the success of Studio Cafe.
Pelham Art Center Board Chair Nancy Mazzei summarized the evening best:
“Studio Cafe represents everything the Pelham Art Center is about, it’s held at the center, art from 20-30 artists is offered for sale, local businesses donate all the food and sponsorships, and the entire event is 100% volunteer-run. This year, we celebrate Punk Rock, an era that broke rules and forged change, the exact mission art has – I see it as a perfect combination for our fall fundraiser and our valuable community.”
