Alfred M. Catalanotto Obituary

Alfred M. Catalanotto, born and raised New Yorker passed away peacefully on May 16th, 2025. He was known for his generosity, dedication and unique sense of humor.

Alfred had infinite love for his family, friends and newly met strangers on the streets of New York City. There wasn’t a person he wouldn’t go above and beyond for.

Alfred was the beloved husband of Toni-Lynn Fisher Catalanotto, with whom he shared 26 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they raised four strong and loving children; Joseph, Angelo, Alyssa-Lynn and Matthew.

He was a man of many titles: Husband, Father, Brother, Friend, Chairman, Partner; the list goes on. Alfred started growing his business along side his family at the age of 16. He was a man of strong values—hardworking, kind, intelligent, generous and always ready with a quick joke, and plenty of laughter. He took great pride in his role as Parade Chairman with the Columbus Citizen’s Foundation for 13 years. He loved telling people what to do and he was great at it, the friends he made along the way were so dear to him.

Alfred had a passion for fishing and hunting, spending his summers growing up and every hunting season in Monticello. He was most proud of his children, often crediting their success to Toni-Lynn’s unwavering efforts.

Alfred’s presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of strength, humor, and love will live on through his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help – 559 Pelham Manor Road – Pelham. All of the services concluded at church and a cremation was held privately.
