Pelham Education Foundation Announces Blue Ribbon Day – Saturday, May 2
The Pelham Education Foundation (PEF) invites the community to take part in its beloved annual tradition, Blue Ribbon Day, on Saturday, May 2—a vibrant, town-wide celebration of Pelham’s enduring commitment to its public schools.
On this special day, PEF board members will personally tie blue ribbons at the homes of donors, transforming neighborhoods into a visible show of pride and support for Pelham students and educators. Each ribbon is more than a symbol—it represents a shared investment in educational excellence.

A Community Effort
Heena Jain, President of the Pelham Education Foundation, leads an organization composed of up to 30 board members, along with an advisory panel of faculty, school district administrators, Board of Education members, and student representatives—reflecting a true partnership across the Pelham community.
“We are continually inspired by the generosity and spirit of Pelham,” said Heena Jain. “Blue Ribbon Day is a simple but powerful way for neighbors to come together in support of our students and educators. Every ribbon tied represents a shared commitment to the future of our schools.”
“The support of the Pelham Education Foundation is truly instrumental in helping our schools deliver on our promise of Inspiring a Standard of Excellence for All Students,” said Dr. Cheryl Champ, Superintendent of Schools. “Applying for grants encourages our teachers to dream big and continue the spirit of innovation that has been a hallmark of our district for many years and benefits our students each and every day.”
