Jim Lofgren Appointed as New President of the Pelham Chamber of Commerce
The Pelham Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce Jim Lofgren as its new President, succeeding Cristina Chianese, who stepped down in January 2025 after four years of service.
Jim Lofgren brings over 15 years of retail expertise to his new role as Chamber President. He currently serves as President and CEO of Nosto, a leading technology provider for retail businesses globally. Prior to Nosto, Jim spent over a decade in the fashion retail business, as well as retail technology businesses Klarna and Rithum.
A proud Pelham resident, Jim moved to the community a few years ago with his wife and four children. His decision to take on this leadership role stems from his deep commitment to giving back to the community he now calls home.
“I am honored to take on this role and continue the exceptional work Cristina and the Chamber have accomplished over the past four years,” said Jim Lofgren. “My goal is to build on this foundation and explore new opportunities to grow and scale the Chamber’s reach. Whether it’s brick-and-mortar businesses, entrepreneurs, self-employed individuals, corporate executives, or the next generation of leaders, I want to ensure everyone in our community feels included, supported and excited about our work.”
Cristina Chianese expressed her enthusiasm for the Chamber’s future under Jim’s leadership. “I am thrilled to hand the torch over to Jim,” said Cristina. “We have spent a good amount of time together, and I believe his impressive business background and kind, curious personality will serve him well. I look forward to supporting Jim as an advisor at large while he shapes his own vision for the Chamber.”
Cristina’s tenure has been marked by key initiatives such as the DIG Grant Program, successful annual events like Winter Wonderland, Fall in Love with Pelham, MOMinate, and unwavering support for Pelham’s business community. Jim plans to execute vital programs for 2025 while working closely with the Chamber’s board and over 140 members to foster growth and collaboration.
In the coming weeks, Jim will begin meeting with board members and engaging with the broader membership to share his vision for the Chamber’s future.
