Information Regarding Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration for the Pelham Class of 2036 can now be completed using our Infinite Campus Online Registration Portal. This registration system allows parents/guardians to enter and upload registration documents directly from our website. Children residing in the Pelham Union Free School District are eligible to attend kindergarten in September 2023 if they will be 5 years old on or before December 31, 2023.

Visit the District’s Kindergarten Registration Website at www.pelhamschools.org and go to the Parents & Community tab and then Kindergarten/New Student Registration tab. You will find access to the portal and find the necessary documents and information. Please note that some documents will need to be notarized.

The Kindergarten Registration Portal will be open for the 2023-24 school year through February 3, 2023.

Enrollment in one of our four elementary schools (Colonial, Hutchinson, Prospect Hill, and Siwanoy) is determined by the neighborhood in which you reside. If you do not know which elementary school serves your neighborhood, you should refer to our map located on our website. You can also call the District Registrar at (914) 738-3434 x 1211 or send an email to registrar@pelhamschools.org.

Spring Orientation / Screening: After registration, our instructional staff will be available to discuss the kindergarten program by the end of the school year. You and your child will be invited, by appointment, to visit your designated school. The kindergarten teachers will spend some time with your child observing his/her interactions and completing a preliminary screening.
