Community Safety is our Highest Priority

Resident safety is Pelham Manor’s highest priority. They continuously strive to make sure services support the lively community everyone shares together. Traffic safety continues to be an area of discussion. Majority of the folks on the roads are the people that live here, particularly on the side streets. The mayor and board are reaching out to remind the community to please slow down! You will see a Police Department’s speed trailer around the Village as a reminder to be mindful of the speed at which you are traveling.

On another safety note, on Friday, April 14 Pelham Manor Firefighters, along with Village of Pelham Firefighters, conducted a joint training exercise at the Pelham Manor shopping district. Firefighters trained on communications, hose deployment, and apparatus placement. Conducting these training drills fine-tunes response measures.
