Receives Honor from AMWA

Hearts & Homes for Refugees was recently selected by the American Muslim Women’s Association as an honoree at their 20th Anniversary Awards Dinner. Senator Pete Harckham, State Senator Shelley Mayer, and Westchester County Government for presented the organization with a proclamation for their service to refugees in the community, and NY Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins delivered words of congratulations.

Hearts & Homes for Refugees are honored to be AMWA’s partner and they look forward to welcoming and assisting many more families together. AMWA has been an integral part of the Westchester community for 20 years.
