Over 300 guests joined in a magnificent celebration of the Pelham Civic Association’s Annual Dinner Dance Gala held on Friday, October 14th at The Surf Club in New Rochelle. This year’s Persons of the Year were the Honorable Michael Volpe and Philip Carfora.
The Pelham Civic Association – one of New York State’s most active, volunteer charitable organizations, assists the youth, the seniors, the financially needy and the physically and mentally challenged – with visionary programs and events throughout the year. The Gala culminates their Fundraising season. Honorees Volpe and Carfora were acknowledged for their decades of tireless volunteer work.
This year’s event was especially significant since both are active Pelham Civic Association members and officers who have contributed greatly to the success of the organization.
The current Pelham Civic administration is lead by President Michael Ming. This year’s Dinner Dance Gala Co-Chairmen were Michael Recca and Maurice Owen-Michaane. The Raffle Chairman was Michael Paradis, and the Silent Auction Chairman was Todd Cross. Tim Case served as Vice President of Fundraising.
