The Old Guitarist by Will Nunziata Selected to Show at the New York Shorts International Film Festival

Pelham-native Will Nunziata (award-winning Co-Creator and Director of the Broadway-bound musical Little Black Book) has written and directed a short film starring his long-time friend Dominic Chianese (The Sopranos, The Godfather Part II) titled The Old Guitarist.

The film has just been selected to make its world premiere on Saturday, October 22 as an official selection of the renowned New York Shorts International Film Festival. The film will premiere at the historic Cinema Village movie theatre in the East Village. For tickets, visit www.nyshorts.net. 

The Old Guitarist is inspired by Pablo Picasso’s painting of the same name and stars Dominic Chianese as a man reflecting on his past in hopes of finding forgiveness. The film is produced by 23 Productions and also stars Ayden Skye (Daffy, The Headmistress) and Mike Cefalo (Rebel Robin: Surviving Hawkins (Netflix), First National Tour of The Band’s Visit). The crew includes John T. LaBarbera (Composer/Guitar), Luke Momo (Lighting Cameraman), Alex Zhu (Sound Mixer), and Chase Buhler (Production Assistant).
