Pelham Manor Deputy Mayor Breda Bennett and Zoning Board Member Joe Liberatore Announce Bid for Two Village Trustee Positions

Deputy Mayor Bridget “Breda” Bennett and Zoning Board of Appeals Member Joseph “Joe” Liberatore are delighted to announce their candidacies for the two Pelham Manor Village Trustee positions. The election will be held on November 3.

A Trustee since 2018, Deputy Mayor Bennett currently serves as Pelham Manor’s Police Commissioner, working closely with administrative officers and law enforcement.

She has spearheaded a host of Village initiatives, including the Road Safety Starts with You campaign. Deputy Mayor Bennett has a distinguished record of local community service and is the proud recipient of the 2024 John Marshall Award, given to a volunteer who has made special and significant contributions to recreation and youth services in Pelham. Professionally, Deputy Mayor Bennett is Vice President of her family’s construction and development business and has been an educator and a school administrator. She looks forward to serving the residents of Pelham Manor for two more years.

A longtime Pelham Manor resident, Joe Liberatore has served with distinction on the Village’s Zoning Board of Appeals since 2023. In that capacity, he works with other Village volunteers, reviewing building department decisions and evaluating variance applications under Pelham Manor’s Zoning Code and New York State law. ZBA Member Liberatore is an avid supporter of Pelham youth organizations, having served as head coach or coach for Pelham Little League Baseball and Softball, Pelham Recreation Soccer and CYO Basketball. A CPA and seasoned financial professional, ZBA Member Liberatore has managed and monitored organizations in both the public and private sectors. He is excited to leverage his skills to continue Pelham Manor’s strong financial position.
