Welcome Building Inspector Andrew Torres
Pelham Manor has experienced a transition in their Building Department as the previous employee accepted a position in a new location. They are excited to share that Andrew Torres has joined the team as their building inspector. In addition to being a certified NYS Code Enforcement Official, Mr. Torres studied mechanical and construction engineering at New York Institute of Technology and holds a plumbing license. He worked as a plumber for many years before coming to the public sector.
Mr. Torres has previously worked in the Building Department for two other municipalities in the lower hudson valley region as an assistant building inspector and a senior code enforcement officer/plumbing inspector. His knowledge in construction regulation and local zoning ordinances is strong. He is also conversant in Spanish.
