The Danny Fund Annual Gala
The Danny Fund held its annual gala on February 7, 2026 at the Surf Club in New Rochelle. Despite the record-breaking cold weather, a crowd of 250 people came out to celebrate the evening’s honorees, Michael J. Volpe and Phillip Kiamie, both Pelham residents and long-time supporters of The Danny Fund. Proclamations were presented to the honorees by Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, County Legislator Terry Clements, Town Supervisor, Theresa Mohan, Pelham Mayor Chance Mullen and Pelham Manor Trustee Breda Bennett. Congressman George Latimer also attended and shared a video of his address to the US Congress on January 9, 2026 regarding The Danny Fund.
The them was of the evening was “Game Night” and guests enjoyed music, a silent auction and music and dancing with DJ Ryan (fill in this plank). CBS-New York Correspondent, Tony Aiello was the evening’s Master of Ceremonies.
For thirty-two years The Danny Fund has helped children and families facing catastrophic illness. They continue to be grateful for all of the support it receives, particularly from the Pelham community.
