Fall is just around the corner and Clay Art Center has so much to offer to delight and inspire pottery lovers, creative individuals and families. Here is a sample:
Fall Exhibition: Shake It Up, a juried exhibition of ceramic salt and pepper shakers/cellars from 36 contemporary artists at all stages of their careers. Guest juried by Austin Coudriet and Nikki Lau, this exhibition is both delightful and explorative. Opening Reception and Juror Prize announcement Saturday, September 6, 5 – 7 p.m. Learn more
Hispanic Heritage Month – Featured Artist: Fernando Martinez. Originally from Argentina, Port Chester resident and business owner Fernando Martinez creates ceramic works inspired by collage, Japanese ceramics. On view September 15 – October 18. Learn more
