Village DGEIS Downtown Restoration Initiatives Discussed at Board Meeting

Village of Pelham Mayor Chance Mullen called to order the April 26th Board of Trustees meeting, the dominant topic being a Public Hearing on the Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement (DGEIS) “Village of Pelham Downtown Restoration Initiatives” and Proposed Text Amendments to Business District Floating Zone (BDFZ).   

Pelham Manor 2022-2023 Budget and Tax Levy Adopted

Pelham Manor Mayor Jennifer Monachino Lapey convened a Board of Trustees meeting on April 25th, recounting that she and Village Manager John T. Pierpont met with Assemblywoman Amy Paulin and NYS Department of Transportation (DOT) Regional Director Lance MacMillan, regarding an onsite discussion about Boston Post Road pedestrian and traffic safety.

Pelham Manor’s Ongoing Collaboration and Advocacy with State Elected Officials and the NYS DOT

As part of Pelham Manor’s ongoing collaboration and advocacy with state elected officials and the NYS DOT, Mayor Jennifer Lapey and Village Manager John Pierpont joined Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, her staff, and NYS DOT engineers for an on-site discussion about pedestrian and traffic safety on Boston Post Road, which is state controlled.

The voting members of Progressive Women of Pelham have endorsed State Senator Alessandra Biaggi for New York’s Third Congressional District in the Democratic Primary election to be held on June 28th.
