With Six Months to Federal Deadline, DMV is Reminding Travelers to Get REAL ID

The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) reminded New Yorkers Thursday that in six months, a standard license or non-driver ID will no longer be accepted for flights within the US. As a requirement of the federal REAL ID Act, travelers will need a REAL ID, an Enhanced ID or a passport to board domestic flights, starting May 3, 2023.

Village of Pelham Mayor Chance Mullen opened the Tuesday, October 25, 2022 Board of Trustees Work Session, with Village Administrator Chris Scelza introducing Pelham Fire Chief Robert Benkwitt III, who discussed the need to purchase a new Aerial Ladder Fire Truck, the present one nearing the end of its 20-year life span; also, a ladder stress crack was detected. 

Ambulance RFP and Muni Con Resolutions Passed

The Monday, November 7th Town of Pelham meeting opened with Councilwoman Rae Szymanski recounting two emergency Flycar incidents involving children.  All incidents were handled and worked out with positive results.  Szymanski then went over what occurs when a 911 call goes through, saying that all emergency calls go to 60 Control.
